About Palisades Regional Fire Rescue

In October 2022, the new Palisades Regional Fire Rescue Station 43, comprised of Springtown Station 40, Riegelsville Station 42, Ottsville Station 49 and Nockamixon Station 94, was formed to improve public safety services and create a stronger volunteer fire-rescue service.

The need for consolidation came to fruition due to the declining number of volunteers and the growing cost to operate, while still maintaining a high level of service to our communities.

With the creation of Palisades Regional Fire Rescue, we are proudly serving all of Durham Township, all of Riegelsville Borough as well as large portions of Tinicum, Springfield and Nockamixon and smaller portions of Haycock and Bedminster Townships. This coverage area is approximately 130 square miles making PRFR the largest fire company in Bucks County. We offer mutual aid in surrounding communities including Northampton and Lehigh County, PA and Hunterdon County, NJ.
